Cathy Stockton

Cathy Stockton is a third generation resident of Redlands, California. She was born in Redlands, graduated from Redlands High School in 1959 and was a member of the University of Redlands Class of 1963.

Cathy has been married to her husband Dave for 45 years. They have two married sons who have given them four grandchildren ranging in age from 7 to 11. Dave is a professional golfer and together they have traveled the PGA golf tour together for 27 years.

Cathy is a former beauty queen having held the titles of Miss Redlands (1963), California Citrus Queen at the National Orange Show (1963) and Maid of California, representing San Bernardino County at the California State Fair (1963).

In 2006 Cathy successfully fought breast cancer and is now a four year cancer survivor. Along with two other cancer survivors, Annie Sellas and Nancy Varner, Cathy founded the “Believe and Walk for the Cure” event in 2008 that raised $200,000 benefiting the Loma Linda Cancer Center. The walk raised $320,000 in 2009 and the group plans to sponsor their third even in October of 2010.
