Jon Harrison

Jon Harrison and his wife of 35 years, Lynette, have lived in Redlands since 1983. They have two children, Jordan who graduated from Redlands High School in 1996 and Claire, who graduated from RHS in 2002.

Jon has worked as a GIS project specialist at ESRI in Redlands since 1982. He has served as a member of the Redlands City council since 2001 and served as the city’s Mayor from December 2005 to December 2009.

The Harrison’s enjoy ballroom and swing dancing and when he’s not off somewhere dancing, Jon enjoys puttering in his garden.

“I have enjoyed swing and ballroom dancing for more than 15 years, “ Jon says, “It’s not only great fun, it’s also great exercise. I hope that by dancing at the Symphony Gala, I will spark an interest in dancing among some of those attending the event.”
